GLOBALink | Beach volleyball U19 World Championships starts in NW China

FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships 2024 kicked off in the city of Shangluo, northwest China’s Shaanxi Province on Tuesday. A total of 116 teams from 53 countries and regions are taking part in the six-day event.
Turkish player Su Simdim and her teammate Cevlin Savar defeated Australian pair Lara Maric and Matisse Conlon 2-0 on Tuesday. The 16-year-old Simdim told Xinhua that the event organization impressed her and she was planning a city tour with her teammate and coach after the event.
