HG WEEKS COOKERETTE ANTIQUE ELECTRIC MINIATURE STOVE OVEN VINTAGE 1920s

Description

This 1920's "Cookerette" all-metal miniature electric stove & oven was made by the HG Weeks Mfg Co of Hamilton, Ohio. Measuring 20.5"H x 10"W x 9.5"D, it has a storage shelf and working oven & stovetop. The "Cookerette" was marketed as both a child's toy and a small home appliance designed to sit on the kitchen countertop! The oven shows moderate wear from age. The chrome surfaces show rust stains and pitting, and there are noticeable scratches on the oven door. It has been thoroughly cleaned, rust and rough spots have been polished away from the metal surfaces, and all heat coils in the oven and under the stove top glow orange when plugged in. Range top will be removed for safer shipping (held on with three nuts & bolts).
